When our children use art, they develop coping skills, organization techniques, develop resilience, and more. Pablo Picasso once said, “The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.” We at Ascend Institute believe in the fruitful impact that this project (Crayons 2 Kids) will bring to our community and beyond.

Reality and the TRUTH hurts

Basic school supplies are WANTED in our community. Hundreds of students can use quality tools for their development. Imagine being asked to write or paint a desired picture without the tools to fulfill their imagination. Many children face this misfortune every day in school and at home. This campaign is set in place to equip our community in need for a better future.

This project: "Crayons 2 Kids" will provide a “Tool box” of school supplies to help their development and health.

Families most struggle with:

• Pencils - Folders - Crayon - Notebooks - Paper - Glue/Glue Sticks - Markers - Art Supplies - Scissors - Backpacks.

This also helps Educators who spend out of their pocket from their limited salaries to provide the necessary supplies for their students and classrooms. Now and more than ever, we made a it happen.
