“Hunger is a real, life-threatening pandemic that is plaguing the lives of young Americans. It is a rumble in the stomach that demands to be silenced.” At Ascend Institute, it is our true goal to silence the rumble in as many stomachs possible.

Have you ever thought long and hard about where your next meal was going to come from? Many children and families right in your community are suffering from hunger. Many families have empty refrigerators and pantries, rumbles in their stomachs, and are struggling with finding food to feed their families.
